About the .name TLD (Top-Level Domain Name). To my insights this is the only valid TLD for personal pages. I see many other people use .net, .com, .org, ... but these are not meant for personal pages. I don't use a country or region specific TLD, because I don't feel the need to link my personal being with a location.
